Javascript or Css for Responsive Web Design?

css and js

When designing a website and going responsive, there are two options in design. The first option is Javascript and the second option is CSS. If you will be creating a responsive web design with Javascript code, it will instantly make all pages responsive without needing more work inside the code. However, if you use Javascript, note that too many javascript files will decrease a websites performance. With this just said, keeping javascript to a 2 max is recommended not to weight down the site. If you will select to design a responsive website with CSS and no Javascript included, you need to use CSS media queries. Media queries will need custom breakpoint input to resize a website layout specifically for each device size. If you still have a fixed layout, its time to upgrade to a responsive design!
